If one looks at the mass shootings in the United States for the last 10 years you will find that some 90% were carried out by a person with Democrat party affiliation.  Furthermore, if you look at most of the individual shootings, they are done by people living in predominately Democratic areas in the large cities.  I believe it is safe to say, "Republicans buy guns for protection and target shooting, while many Democrats either steal or buy guns for killing their fellow citizens!

The left loves to point out that the Florida shooter was a native born American.  His father however was born and raised in Afghanistan.  Perhaps if we would have better screened the father and family before allowing them to immigrate to this country the massacre in Orlando could have been prevented.  We have 300 million people in our nation now---more than enough.  Immigrants should still be able to come, but they must be screened better.  Allowing every Tom, Dick and Harry who comes down the pike in, is just crazy and dangerous.  Vote Trump in 2016 for a safer nation.  Or vote for Hillary and have your guns taken away so you cannot protect yourselves should that terrorist or just some criminal comes knocking at your door.
