The Cult of Climastrology really, really wants to raise the cost of all your home appliances in order to stop the extinction of all life on Earth or something.
(Daily Caller) Environmentalists and a coalition of Democratic-led states sued the Trump administration Tuesday for delaying Energy Department energy efficiency regulations on common appliances.
The Trump administration failed to implement the appliance regulations on time, according to the suits, which are part of a broader effort to block White House efforts to roll back Obama-era regulations. The Obama administration finalized the efficiency rules as part of its “Climate Action Plan.”
“These delays are not only baffling, they’re unnecessary and illegal,” Kit Kennedy with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) said in a statement about the lawsuit.
NRDC and other environmentalists joined 11 Democratic-led states and New York City in suing the Trump administration. Eleven states, led by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, also sued the Trump administration in April over delaying the energy efficiency rules, saying that rules would yield “net savings to consumers and businesses of approximately $23.8 billion.” Read more.....
New York's well-funded (including with tax money) "Shakespeare in the Park" company recently staged a modern day retelling of Julius Caesar in which the title character is depicted as President Trump - causing liberal glee when he's graphically and bloodily assassinated onstage by knife-wielding maniacs of the type that recently staged a similar production on London Bridge.
What a great family outing, huh? And how better to introduce kids to Shakespeare than by making it "fun" with the repeated stabbing of an American President?!
Critics on the Left (are there any other kind?) say that conservatives and fly-over peasants are being too sensitive about this brilliant restaging and maybe they're right. Which is why, in the interest of "Making Theater Great Again," we'd like to suggest some other adaptations which might please those same critics and stimulate sophisticated cocktail conversations after an outdoor evening with the Bard.

School trips to D.C. to explore the capitol and take photos in front of the White House are common enough, but one Missouri middle school teacher decided that being childish and disrespectful is exactly the way he wanted to remember his chaperoning duties.
The image shows the teacher, Lynn Miller, flipping off the White House. The image was uploaded to Facebook. None of the nine students witnessed the initial photo being taken, but it was later found on his profile page. It turns out that the science teacher at Warrensburg Middle School told students earlier, while at the airport in Kansas City that he would “give the finger” to the White House (and, we assume, its Presidential occupant).

The upside of the plan for the shooting sports: the Tokyo games will see new Trap Mixed Gender Team, 10m Air Rifle Mixed Gender Team, and 10m Air Pistol Mixed Gender Team events.
The downside: to make room, the IOC will remove the current Men’s Double Trap, Men’s 50m Rifle Prone, and Men’s 50m Pistol events. …
The shooting events cut are some of the longest running in modern Olympic history.
Maybe the Olympic committee can have a new spate of sports added in lieu of these shooting sports like, Trigger Warnings, a game where an SJW has to successfully navigate the real world WITHOUT being triggered by microaggressions.
If they want to make it more “youthful” and more “urban” then maybe they should have the 50m Centerfire Drive By, 25m Shooting While in a Speeding Car, and 25 Foot Gangsta Style: slow, timed, and rapid fire.
If it keep[s] going on its present path there will be Team man-Bun Styling and individual Drag Queen competition.
On the bright side, shooting sports have not yet been banned altogether on the grounds that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens make liberals feel uncomfortable. Read moe >

Both Delta Airlines and Bank of America have now cancelled their sponsorships of New York City’s Public Theater, following the backlash from their Shakespeare Park production of Julius Caesar, a “contemporary” run on the classic play. However, theirs had a PLOT TWIST that is now making them cringe in hindsight.
Theirs had a Donald-Trump inspired twist on the main character, and it is he that ends up being graphically stabbed to death right there on stage. Since this horrid scene Bank of America has released the following statement:
“Bank of America supports art programs worldwide, including an 11-year partnership with The Public Theater and Shakespeare in the Park,” a spokesperson for the company told the New York Daily News Sunday. “The Public Theater chose to present Julius Caesar in a way that was intended to provoke and offend. Had this intention been made known to us, we would have decided not to sponsor it.”
Of course the play itself was Julius Caesar, but the main character’s striking resemblance to President Trump doesn’t take a genius to decode what was really going down. We’re talking blonde, slicked-back hair and a business suit and tie, with his wife Calpurnia speaking in a Slavic accent just like our First Lady, Melania Trump. So it’s not hard to see what they were really saying at all.
